The But Talk About It. Talking About Legality to Build Awareness review continues in Carmagnola.
This performance intertwines storytelling and music to bring to life the story of Peppino Impastato, a symbolic figure in the fight against “Cosa Nostra”, who was killed in Cinisi in 1978 for his work denouncing corruption, his freedom of thought and his civic engagement.
Guiding the audience through memories, biography and reflections is Luisa Impastato, Peppino's niece, who is committed to promoting a culture of legality and democratic participation. The narration alternates with musical interludes performed by the Nuova Orchestra Pedrollo, a Vicenza-based ensemble founded in 2012 and involved in projects where music and civil responsibility interact.
At the end, there will be an open discussion with questions from the audience to explore the themes, memories and reflections shared.
