A new artistic and cultural event in Niquidetto, as part of the “Ar(s)monie per la villeggiatura” (Harmonies for holidays) project. The protagonists are the clouds that streak across the autumn sky, often heralding the rains typical of the period around St Michael's Day...
The day begins with a series of scientific and meteorological information introduced by Andrea Vuolo, whose face has become familiar thanks to TGR Piemonte: every day he accompanies us with his television programmes and helps us to predict the evolution of the weather phenomena that affect our region, which have recently had rather severe effects. With his experience and expertise, Andrea will teach us how to recognise the various types of clouds and understand what the different cloud formations herald.
Clouds are also extraordinary protagonists in the visual arts, a topic that will be briefly discussed by Franz Clemente, teacher of drawing and art history and creator of Niquidetto's main artistic initiatives, including the famous painted lose, an open-air painting trail that has made the village famous.
Immediately after lunch, which can be enjoyed in an autumnal setting rich in colours and shades, it will be possible to take part in a painting workshop inspired by the theme of clouds.
A pleasant day, mostly spent outdoors, with materials provided by the organisers for those who wish to try their hand at painting.
