The MAO presents the exhibition *Paesaggi da sogno / Dreamscapes*, dedicated to Utagawa Hiroshige’s famous series *The 53 Stations of the Tōkaidō*, one of the absolute masterpieces of 19th-century Japanese art, owned by UniCredit.
The exhibition brings together a selection of 36 prints with the aim of recreating for the public the immersive and ‘cinematic’ dimension of that floating world, whilst also broadening the focus to include certain objects and forms of material culture that accompanied and made possible the experience of travel in Japan between the 18th and 19th centuries.
