The Muses have lived in Pianezza for over 400 years. First in the medieval castle and then, since the 19th century, in the park of Villa Lascaris.
Today, 17 17th-century stone statues depicting muses and mythological figures gaze out over Monviso, the Dora Riparia river and the Susa Valley, watched over by the large statue of their father, Jupiter.
With the fifth edition of Parco Aperto, Villa Lascaris opens its doors to transport visitors on a journey through time, art and myth. An afternoon to discover the thousand-year history of the villa through its large English park, medieval tower, frescoed rooms and statues that whisper legends: debut actress Gaia Amélie Peretti will give voice to the Muses with surprise theatrical performances.
There will also be something for the little ones with the creative workshop A journey through the myths in the park of emotions, for children aged 4 to 12.
Booking required, indicating the time, number of participants and, if applicable, the number and ages of children for the workshop.
