This is the heart of Stefano Massini's Processo a Dio (The Trial of God), a work that highlights the urgency of questioning silence in the face of horror. This text has been reworked by the Zerimago theatre company, which has kept the symbolic structure of the work intact but expanded its meaning, transforming it into a space for collective reflection on our present.
Because the real trial is not of God but of man, of memory and of our responsibility. Remembering does not only mean looking back: it means becoming aware of the injustices we witness today.
