Seventh year of performances for this ‘theatrical brawl’ in the shadow of Girolamo Angione and Gian Mesturino's Globe from Shakespeare.
A plague epidemic, strikingly reminiscent of the one William Shakespeare experienced in 1592-94, caused the theatres to close. In one, however, two actors and the audience remained. The authorities forbid them to leave the building. The only thing left to do is to propose a roundup of the Bard's works, while waiting for better times... from these starting points the careful dramaturgical work begins, in an enjoyable journey in the company of Prospero and Puck, Hamlet and Shylock, Juliet and Marcantonio.
