The Salida Oficial of the Vuelta a España is just a few days away, and interest among cycling fans is rising for the arrival in Piedmont of the world's third most important stage race. Initiatives are multiplying to involve the territories and tell the story of a sporting event in which Italian riders have often been winners or otherwise protagonists.
The Metropolitan City of Turin has chosen to celebrate the Turin champions who have worn the red jersey and other jerseys of the Vuelta in the past with the exhibition “Torinesi di Spagna,” which will be set up in the exhibition space on the ground floor of the headquarters in Corso Inghilterra 7.
In addition to panels telling the story of Torino riders at the Vuelta, a number of vintage bicycles from private collections will be on display.
