The Castle of Ivrea reopens its doors to the public for the winter season.
From now until the end of February, it will be possible to visit the fortress in Ivrea thanks to special free openings on the first Sundays of the month (7 December, 4 January, 1 February) and during Carnival (8, 14, 15, 16 and 17 February).
The tour will include the inner courtyard, the walkways and the inner cells of the fortress.
The castle cells will be embellished by two photographic exhibitions curated by the Ecomuseo Anfiteatro Morenico Ivrea (Ivrea Morainic Amphitheatre Ecomuseum): “The Five Lakes of Ivrea” and “Man and the Book”.

The first Sunday of each month: 7 December 2025, 4 January 2026, and 1 February 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Special openings during the Historic Carnival of Ivrea: 8 and 14 February 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; 15, 16 and 17 February 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
