A woman killer is not sick, he is a healthy son of patriarchy. He is one of us, raised like us, who thinks like us. Who, more or less consciously, considers women to be inferior beings. To be “protected” and caged, belittled, subjugated, if not beaten, raped, killed.
In Italy, one woman dies every three days, the vast majority at the hands of those who should love them. There are countless cases of rape, beatings within the home, assaults or catcalling in the street, psychological manipulation, economic violence, mansplaining, and intimidation such as “shut up!”: a hidden evil that makes half the population victims and the other half perpetrators.
This project is a journey. An imaginary journey into the mind of the perpetrator, who kills in many ways, not just with a weapon.
