Strolling through the historic streets of Torino's city centre, we will immerse ourselves in over four centuries of solidarity and civic engagement. The Ufficio Pio, founded in 1595 by the brothers of the Compagnia di San Paolo, has supported generations of Torino's citizens, from women and families in need to the most vulnerable members of society, constantly adapting its actions to the needs of the community.
Each stage tells stories of generosity and dedication: people who have donated their time, resources and attention, buildings that preserve memories and works of art that speak of faith and civilisation. In the background, Torino reveals itself as a lively and welcoming city, guardian of an extraordinary heritage of documents, maps and photographs that bear witness to the deep connection between past and present.
A journey that combines history, art and solidarity, showing how the actions of those who have dedicated centuries to the community continue to shape the face of the city today.
