Living in mountain hamlets in the past meant facing a simple yet challenging daily life. Existence was deeply tied to nature’s rhythm, with each season dictating its own cycle of work and sacrifice. Hardships were many: the harsh winter cold, limited resources, and the demanding labor in fields or pastures. Yet, within these struggles, mountain communities developed a strong bond based on solidarity, mutual aid, and a deep sense of belonging.
The "montagnin" itinerary will take you on a journey into this mountain lifestyle, immersing you in the past through stories and tales that bring the village trails to life. Through fun role-playing games, both young and old will have the chance to step into the shoes of mountain dwellers, experiencing their daily hardships and the small gestures that shaped life in the highlands.
At the end of the route, a visit to the Ethnographic Museum will reveal traditions, crafts, and everyday objects from mountain life, bringing a piece of history to life. This experience will not only enrich your mind but also make you feel closer to a world built on resilience, passion, and love for the mountains.
