On the occasion of the historic Palio of Avigliana, we invite you to experience a unique journey in the heart of the village. Not a simple visit, but an immersive path that intertwines the charm of the past with the creativity of the present.
Through ancient alleyways and picturesque views, where centuries-old stories come back to life, we will experience a special moment with a stop for the inauguration of the artwork by artist Andrea Ferrero for the project Una Boccata d’Arte, an initiative that brings contemporary art to some of the most beautiful villages in Italy, creating a striking dialogue between historical heritage and modern languages.
At the end of the tour, the experience continues: participants can head to the Campo del Palio (Via Oronte Nota) to fully enter the heart of the official celebrations and witness one of the most solemn moments of the event, the handing over of the city keys from the Mayor to the Conte Rosso, an act that officially marks the beginning of the competitions and festivities.
It will be the perfect opportunity to stop at the traditional medieval taverns, immerse yourself in the historic atmosphere, and enjoy the exciting evening show.
