Melania Giglio is the author and performer of the play Voce di donna.
On stage is a woman, alone, dressed in an enormous wedding dress that takes up almost the entire stage. She tells her story of victories and defeats, joys and sorrows. A story common to many.
But this woman perceives the world in a very special way. For her, only sound, voices, music give meaning to events. Only sound brings order to a universe that would otherwise be perceived as chaos.
Through the women's voices that have guided and haunted her, she even manages to tell us about that absurd succession of hours that some clueless people insist on calling life.
Music by Simon and Garfunkel, Loredana Bertè, Elisa, Ivano Fossati, Prince, Adele.
