Experience one of the oldest and most fascinating Carnivals in Piedmont, documented as early as 1093. We will take you to Santhià, along the historic Via Francigena, for an authentic celebration where medieval traditions, historic masks and popular rituals bring the entire town to life.

During the guided walk through the historic centre, the Carnival will already be in full swing: the first parades, traditional masks and the growing excitement awaiting the symbolic arrival of Gianduja, welcomed by music, humour and local tradition. We will discover iconic landmarks such as the Collegiate Church of Sant’Agata, the Church of the Holy Trinity and the Palazzo del Capitano, home to the Historical Carnival Museum.

Lunch features the authentic flavours of the area, including the famous Fagiuolata di Santhià and traditional Vercelli specialities. In the afternoon, the celebration reaches its peak with the parade of allegorical floats: giant papier-mâché creations, marching bands and a lively atmosphere where history and festivity come together.

A unique experience where Carnival is not just something to watch, but something to truly live.
