ApiGourmet Experience (honey)

An aperitif exploring honey, the work of bees, from flower to hive, from jar to table

Innovative and creative beekeeping workshop inspired by Fulvio Piccinino’s book “The King was a Queen,” which reconstructs the virtuous relationship between man and bee throughout the centuries with the goal of making you see your next spoonful of honey with different eyes

With three multisensory moments and four tastings of rare and very special honeys we will discover the “fragrant” communication of bees, curiosities about their biology and honey production.

To conclude the activity an aperitif with the protagonist, of course, honey

DISCOVER
what honey is and how it is made. Bee society, the role of the queen, the importance of flowers and the seasons. How bees communicate with each other to create the nectar of the gods

TASTING
You will taste 4 types of pure honey, taste the sweetness perceived by humans and that perceived by bees. You will be intoxicated by the pheromones that bees use to communicate with each other.

At the end of the experience an aperitif is offered with savory finger foods that will have honey as the main ingredient and we will toast together with mead, an alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey.
