Anemos Itinerari del Vento offers students and teachers of first and second grade secondary schools a wide choice of cycling itineraries, in the city of Turin, throughout Piedmont and even outside the region.
In addition to the proposals presented here, it is possible to customise routes and stages according to the needs of each individual institute.
Trips can be conducted in Italian, English, French, German or Spanish.
For school trips, Anemos staff is composed of cycling tour leaders from the Piedmont Region.
TORINO
The routes with development in the city are based on certain themes, such as the historic city centre and the Valentino Park, the Po River Park or the 200 years of sport in Turin.
The routes are developed on cycle paths, pedestrian zones permitted for bicycles and short connecting sections on roads with low vehicle traffic.
During the excursions, cycling guides licensed by the Piedmont Region will provide historical and naturalistic information and interest the youngsters with anecdotes and curiosities.
The duration of the excursions can be agreed, with full-day or half-day options.
THE HILL OF TURIN AND THE ADVENTURE PARK
Taking advantage of the historic Sassi-Superga rack tramway, the Basilica of Superga is easily and effortlessly reached.
From the square, after a short downhill stretch, you pedal along the pleasant Colli (Panoramic) road. After a few kilometres, you reach the Adventure Park, which offers 3 different routes via ladders, pulleys and Tibetan bridges.
The activity at the park lasts about 2 hours.
After a break for lunch (packed in the adjacent picnic area or at the nearby refreshment point), you resume cycling and reach the Lungo Po.
Anemos Itinerari del Vento can provide the necessary bicycles and helmets at the starting point of the itinerary.
Schools
The kilometric development and the proposed stops make each itinerary suitable to be covered without difficulty in half a day or a day by a group of young people (8-20 years old)
