The ancient walls of the Susa Castle once again become the guardians of a legendary epic. There is no more fitting venue to host this event: it was here, in fact, that it all began.
The exhibition takes its cue from the event that changed the history of our continent: the marriage between Adelaide of Susa and Odo of Savoy in the 11th century, a union that opened the doors of Europe to the House of Savoy and forever linked the name of the Savoy family to this territory and this noble residence.
The collaboration between Castello di Adelaide, Pro Loco di Susa and Savoie.live has made it possible to present, for the first time in Italia, the extraordinary collection of the Chambéry-based association, which for years has preserved and promoted a historical heritage of inestimable importance linked to the Royal House.
The exhibition guides visitors through over forty original documents and objects, rare pieces spanning eight centuries of European history, which find their natural home in the halls of the Castle.
