A pleasant hike through the hills of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea and on the side that looks towards the Canavese area. A rather long circular route, among chestnut groves, peat bogs, country churches and small quiet villages. A place with rustic rural life where once people lived on what these hills could offer and where ancient cultivations such as the olive tree are now being rediscovered.
Difficulty: medium/easy E (Hiking) - the route is on easy paths and cart tracks with several ups and downs along the route and a few kilometers of asphalted roads with low vehicular traffic. The length of the stage is approximately 20 km, with a height difference of approximately 480m uphill (considering the various ups and downs) and 280m downhill.
Hiking equipment: boots, windbreaker, backpack, packed lunch, sweatshirt, plenty of water. You will have to be self-sufficient in food and water for the day. Walking poles can be useful.
