Storie di Uomini e di Montagne: il Vallone di Fondo

Hiking

A pleasant hike in Val Chiusella, a secluded valley in the foothills of Canavese (To), especially suitable for those who are out of practice and want to spend a nice day in nature. This is a very green valley of which we will travel the valley floor: from the hamlet of Fondo at about 1000m above sea level with a graceful eighteenth-century bridge and beautiful stone houses, we will go up along the mule track, an ancient transhumance route, up to the village of Tallorno 1250 m.The environment is bucolic and very pleasant! If we wanted to, we could continue up to the Alpe Pasquere above .. but lengthening the path by a lot. Difficulty: easy itinerary, especially up to Tallorno, on a good path and mule track: a few slightly steep sections, always short. The difference in altitude is around 250m up to Tallorno, about 500m up to Alpe Pasquere. Info and reservations by writing to [email protected] by October 9th
