Two pleasant days of walking that will take us from the border with the Aosta Valley through the gentle landscapes of the Canavese, up and down through vineyards and morainic hills, up to Lake Viverone. A stretch of the Via Francigena suitable for everyone and rich in historical and artistic as well as natural evidence. We will spend the night in the city of Ivrea, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Olivetti industrial past but also beautiful in other interesting aspects. Difficulty E medium: the differences in height are not excessive (about 250 / 450m per day) but obviously, since it is Via Francigena, the developments are a little long (25km on the first day and 20 on the second, with several ups and downs) even if they take place on good paths and with never excessive stretches of paved road.
