Built in 1933, the Stadio Monumentale Swimming Pool is a historic facility in Turin and continues to host national and international events and competitions.
The facility features:
a 20 x 33 m swimming pool with 8 lanes, with depths of 2 m and 5 m at the ends and 3.80 m in the centre;
three platforms: 3, 5 and 10 metres;
3 1-metre springboards and 2 3-metre springboards;
a training room/meeting room with 25 seats;
12 changing rooms;
2 changing rooms for users with mobility impairments.
The sports that can be practised are as follows: freestyle swimming, synchronised swimming, water polo, diving and synchronised diving, lifesaving, underwater activities (freediving with tanks, underwater rescue, underwater target shooting, underwater hockey).
