Paolo Daviso

The mountain hut is located in Val Grande di Lanzo (Turin), which is between the Orco Valley - with its Ceresole Reale Lake and Gran Paradiso National Park - and the Ala Valley, that ends with Pian della Mussa. Thanks to its position (2.280m), on the top of Gura valley and surrounded by wild and unspoiled nature, the hut is the starting point for all excursions and ascents on Gura – Martellot and Levanne mountains' group. To reach Daviso there's the n°315 path that starts at Forno Alpi Graie (60km from Turin) and, through creeks and old mountain pasture buildings, it takes about 3 hours by foot and 1000m of ascent to arrive. In the 2017, some of our members equiped "Parete della Morena", a new climbing wall with 6 different routes, at just 15 minutes from the hut. Daviso opens everyday from the end of July to the beginning of September and just during weekends from the middle of June to the middle of September.The refuge can host up 24 people.
