Departing from Torino by bus, you will arrive in Volpiano to taste Volpianina, a typical local focaccia, before exploring the historic centre in the footsteps of Guglielmo da Volpiano, a Benedictine monk, religious reformer, architect and musicologist. The visit includes a stop at the GIOS bicycle factory, a local centre of excellence.
After lunch in a typical trattoria, the tour continues to San Benigno to admire the imposing Abbazia di Fruttuaria, founded by Guglielmo in 1003, a symbol of history, art and spirituality.
