Jannik Sinner wins Nitto ATP Finals for the second consecutive year.
In the final dubbed “the match of the year”, the Italian champion defeated world number one Carlos Alcaraz.
Sinner defeated the Spaniard in 2 hours and 15 minutes, winning at the Inalpi Arena with a score of 7-6(4) 7-5.
It was a very close match, fought blow for blow. Sinner won 78 points to his opponent's 72, and aces were also in his favour, 8 to 5.

Alcaraz and Sinner served well. The level rose with each exchange: drop shots, smashes, pinpoint lobs. Every ball was a battle.
‘It's incredible... an incredible season. Coming here to Torino and winning in front of the Italian crowd was fantastic. I couldn't wait for the tournament to start. It's very special for me,’ said Jannik Sinner with a smile after his victory at the ATP Finals in Turin. ‘Without a team, it wouldn't be possible. Celebrating this tournament after two intense months is incredible,’ he explained. ‘With Carlos, you have to play your best: I served well at certain moments. He is one of the best returners on the circuit. It was a very tough match. It means a lot to end the season like this.’

‘I'm leaving the court with my head held high. I'm really happy with the level I showed on court against a player who hasn't lost a match on an indoor court in two years,’ said Alcaraz. ‘After every defeat, Jannik comes back stronger and stronger, congratulations.’ ‘Torino, it was a pleasure to play here again,’ Alcaraz emphasised during the award ceremony. The atmosphere was incredible, and you never disrespected me despite cheering for Jannik. I hope to see you again next year."
