The exhibition features works by eighteen artists from the Susa Valley, the province of Turin and the province of Vercelli: Edgar Bentura, Mauro Busso, Marina Carlone, Cecile Dossogne, Donatella Gagliardi, Paola Leandri, Patrizio Mancin, Antonio Novello, Alessandra Pica, Pierluigi Restoldo, Venere Rizzo, Valentina Rossi, Dina Russo, Claudia Rasetti, Paola Sappa, Chiara Tampone, Francesca Viale and Patrizia Zanon.
The works stem from a profound and poetic reflection: “Green belongs neither to water nor to earth; it is a transition. It flows, settles, and sprouts. It returns to the water, dissolves, and begins anew”.
A concept that takes the form of a subtle yet continuous thread, guiding visitors through the halls of the Ricetto on an immersive journey, where greenery takes centre stage and invites the mind and senses on a journey into nature.
The variety of techniques employed – watercolour, oil painting, drypoint, mixed media, sculpture and works created using recycled materials – further enriches the experience, offering a multitude of interpretations of the theme.
