A special event celebrating an important milestone: 10 years since the resumption of excavation activities at the Egyptian Museum in Egypt and 50 years of excavation campaigns in Saqqara.

The museum doors will open for a night dedicated to archaeological research and scientific curiosities. There are many activities planned:

• conferences with Egyptologists and the director of the Egyptian Museum, who will reveal the treasures unearthed during the latest excavation campaigns in Coptos, Deir el-Medina and Saqqara

• live demonstrations of archaeological excavation techniques

• a photographic exhibition that uses evocative images to recount daily life during the excavation campaigns
