Have you ever tried using the tools that were used in prehistoric times? Do you know how to light a fire by rubbing sticks together? Have you ever held an axe with a green stone tip? Do you know how they made pots and decorations? Every Sunday you can do it with us!
The Prehistoric Museum Laboratory will engage you with a fun journey through the woods and museum, allowing you to immerse yourself in experimental archaeology, prehistory, nature and artefacts found in the local area.
In our 3-hour tour you will discover:
• the Rumiano rock shelter
• many interesting plants, a mule track and a pond
• the Museum Laboratory with experimental reproductions of objects used by man
• the tactile collection to understand how artefacts were made (pottery, weapons, weaving tools, etc.)
• green stone and ceramic artefacts
• artefacts found in Vaie
In case of rain, we will still be waiting for you: the walk in the woods will be replaced by an engaging practical workshop suitable for adults and children.
