Polyurethane Dreams

Circolo del Design presents ‘Polyurethane Dreams’, an installation by German designer Jannis Zell that reflects on the meaning of sleep in a hyper-productive society such as the one we live in, exploring the materiality of one of the elements that make sleep possible - the mattress - made in most cases of polyurethane foam, a material that is difficult to recycle. With his proposal, Zell intends to stimulate critical thinking by the people of Turin, integrating into his project activities involving local professionals and the city community.
