Inside the fortress, an imaginative universe comes to life, created from recycled waste materials: using sheet metal, mechanical components, old computers, mice, valves, gears, circuit boards and bolts, the artist creates striking works with a strong ecological and sustainability focus.
The exhibition engages with the dendrochronology section, where the growth rings of tree trunks reveal the history of the climate in contrast to the inertia of plastic, thanks to the material provided by Professor Enrico Moriondo.
The exhibition officially opens on Sunday 26 July at 11.00 am with the vernissage, enhanced by the presence of Professor Enrico Moriondo and a live performance by Lucia Mameli, a cellist from the Xenia Chamber Music Course, who will perform selected pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach from the Suites for Solo Cello.
The event is presented by the Associazione Culturale Libero as part of the Alta Fragilità 2026 programme.
