The cycle/pedestrian route is called "The Road of Panoramas" because it offers 17 panoramic viewpoints along its route, with another 14 nearby. The circular route begins at the Chieri train station, famous for its Rubatà breadsticks, focaccia, and Freisa wine. Worth visiting in Chieri are the Cathedral, one of the city's oldest and most interesting buildings and a major example of Piedmontese Gothic style; the Triumphal Arch, one of the city's most famous and appreciated buildings, erected in honor of the Savoy court and adorned with a mechanical clock; the churches of San Leonardo, San Domenico, and the Baroque churches dedicated to San Filippo Neri, San Bernardino, Sant'Antonio, and San Giorgio. It's also worth visiting the Textile Museum. From Chieri, head toward Arignano.
