The third edition of Mese del Gusto (Month of Taste) is ready! Four weekends dedicated to good food, culinary traditions and conviviality, with entertainment for adults and children, show cooking workshops and many events not to be missed!
3-4-5 October Moncalieri National Tripe Fair. Free tastings and events, Friday's Grand Tripe Gala by Chef Ugo Fontanone, Sunday's traditional tripe cooked in a 25-quintal pot. Reservations recommended.
11-12 October Slow Good Fest. The great festival of good, clean and fair food, in collaboration with Slow Food Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta and Slow Food Torino Città, which will bring the Mercato della Terra to the PalaExpo. There will also be a special selection of street food from Rolling Truck from all over Italy, accompanied by craft beers from Moncalieri and Piedmont.
18 October Gran Fritto Misto alla Piemontese dinner by Chef Ugo Fontanone. Reservations recommended.
19 October His Majesty the Bollito. A tradition dating back to the 1400s, with boiled meat cooked in a 1500 kg pot.
25-26 October Pro Loco Days. Twenty Pro Loco associations from all over Piedmont will be cooking to rediscover the most typical flavours: two days of gastronomic village dedicated to the culinary traditions of Piedmont, from appetisers to desserts.
Once again this year, during the Gusto Festival, participating restaurants will offer special dishes and exclusive recipes inspired by the typical flavours of Moncalieri.
