An iconic group walk conceived by the renowned choreographer Pina Bausch for the production Nelken (Carnations).
In a long line along the walls of the Fortress and through the streets of Fenestrelle, participants perform together a sequence of steps and simple gestures evoking the four seasons, creating a poetic experience of movement that becomes a powerful symbol of connection and sharing between human beings and nature.
Our Nelken Line in cordata forms part of the day dedicated to climbing: this symbolic exploration of the fortress walls and Fenestrelle encourages a blending of participants and bodily dance experiences.
