The Torino International Book Fair is one of the most important cultural events in Italy and a reference point for the publishing world. Every year, the fair hosts authors, publishers, readers and professionals, offering a wide programme of meetings, conferences, presentations and activities for every audience.
For publishers, the fair is an important showcase and opportunity to sell and present their latest publications. For readers and visitors, the Salone is a major international festival of culture: 2,000 guests from all over the world for a total of 1,200 events.
The event, which usually takes place in May, promotes reading and cultural debate, not only within the Lingotto Fiere, the event venue, but also through a rich programme of events, the SaloneOFF and cooperation with schools.
