Following Trilogia della guerra, an intense exploration of the deep-rooted forces that shape choices, judgements, rights and laws - and which still fuel the conflicts of our time -, Gabriele Vacis and the artists of PoEM turn their attention to another vast reservoir of ancient yet living words: the sacred texts.
The Gospels become the new chapter in a journey that questions what these scriptures still have to offer today, and how they might resonate in the consciences of the youngest among us, in the restless heart of the present.
The theatrical production does not merely recount millennia-old texts, but explores the questions and tensions they generate, bringing words, emotions and collective memory into dialogue. The project thus forms part of a broader endeavour, combining historical research, civic reflection and theatrical experimentation.
