Culture & Tradition, Music & Shows

Club Silencio opens the doors of the Egyptian Museum and Palazzo Carignano in a single evening: ‘A Night at the Museum’ will take the public on a journey of discovery through two of the city’s most iconic venues, featuring music, performances, history, food and drink.

At the Egyptian Museum, visitors will step into the heart of Nile civilisation on a journey through millennia of history. The following areas will be open to the public:

• the Gallery of Kings, which houses statues of pharaohs and deities from the collection

• the Gallery of Sarcophagi

• the exhibition dedicated to the tomb of Nefertari

• the funerary goods of Kha and Merit, featuring two extraordinary new loans from Paris: Merit’s Book of the Dead from the Bibliothèque nationale de France and the Pyramidion from the Musée du Louvre

At Palazzo Carignano, the Mezzogiorno Apartments will be open, where gilded panelling, carvings and mirrors reflect the elegance of the Savoy court.

Visits will be accompanied by music in true Club Silencio style, with a performance by Lotti Medita and Michele Poli in the Galleria dei Re and a set by Narkao, featuring house, minimal and deep sounds, in the courtyard of Palazzo Carignano.

There will also be a lounge bar, a selection of food offerings from Sfashion Café at Palazzo Carignano, and activities organised by the YouthLab Youth Observatory!
