A day dedicated to the great gastronomic tradition of Piedmont, among royal residences, wine-growing landscapes, and iconic places in the culture of wine.
With a comfortable minibus transfer from Turin, you will reach the magnificent Royal Castle of Govone, an elegant Savoy residence set among the hills of the Roero. Surrounded by a picturesque historic park, the castle evokes the charm of noble summer residences and the deep connection between the court, its territory, and its exceptional local products. A guided itinerary through the park and the evocative historic rooms of the residence will allow you to discover the authentic atmosphere of court life, between receptions, conviviality, and Piedmontese culinary traditions.
The day continues with lunch at a typical Piedmontese restaurant, featuring a traditional menu with an appetizer and a choice of a first or second course, plus water and coffee.
In the afternoon, visit to the historic Agenzia di Pollenzo, an extraordinary neo-Gothic complex commissioned by Carlo Alberto and today an international symbol of gastronomy and wine culture. A guided tour through history and scenic architecture will reveal the great winemaking tradition of Piedmont: from the wines of the Langhe and Roero to the stories of noble banquets, and the birth of a culture of taste that still makes Piedmont famous worldwide.
