Not just a simple bike ride, but a total immersion in a landscape where nature and human endeavour coexist in perfect harmony.
Accompanied by experienced cycling guides, we will cycle approximately 22 km (an easy and accessible route) along the most picturesque stretches of the Strada delle Mele, surrounded by the colours and scents of the Pinerolo countryside in early summer.
Highlights of the tour
- Discovering biodiversity: a stop in Lusernetta at Cascina Bonetto / Cascina Serabial, to uncover the secrets of local fruit growing and the importance of reviving ancient varieties, experiencing first-hand the passion of those who tend the land. Fruit juice tasting.
- Stories and landscapes: along the route, the guides will share anecdotes and interesting facts about the area, with a stop at the Chapel of San Bernardino in Lusernetta and in Luserna, where Catholic culture ‘meets’ that of the Waldensians. A real treat will be the “exclusive” bike ride through the grounds of the Palazzo dei Conti di Bricherasio, open for the Sunday opening of the Dimore Storiche del Pinerolese.
- The joy of togetherness: every great ride deserves a fitting finale. We’ll wrap up the morning in the centre of Campiglione Fenile for a final aperitif featuring local specialities – the perfect chance to swap stories and relax with friends.
Meet at 9am at the former railway signal box in Campiglione Fenile, on Via della Pietra.
Helmets are compulsory. We recommend clothing suitable for the season and physical activity, a water bottle and sun cream.
The route is on tarmac and suitable for all types of bikes. Click here to view the route and download the GPX track.
