A masked hero fights against injustice and tyranny on behalf of the poor: he calls himself Zorro, although his real identity is that of the wealthy Don Diego de la Vega.
In this episode of the story, Zorro fights the evil Commander Ortega, who aims to assassinate the city's governor using oriental potions prepared by Chu-Fao. However, Zorro is not the commander's only enemy in the city: Rachel, the manager of an inn, opposes his orders.
The story of the masked avenging hero, a precursor to comic book superheroes such as Batman, is staged in keeping with the energy of the adventure novel. Painted backdrops are projected and the action is represented through duels and continuous scene changes. The comic parts, entrusted to Sergeant Garcia, Private Ramirez and the oriental Chu-Fao, are noteworthy, but do not detract from the epic nature of the narrative.
