The ‘Regie Armonie’ season along the Via Francigena continues in Sant’Ambrogio, Turin, featuring organist Stefania Mettadelli and Isabella Stabio on saxophones.

• Jean-Baptiste Singelée (1812–1875): Fantasia, Op. 89

The parish church of San Giovanni Vincenzo, built between 1759 and 1763 by the architect Bernardo Vittone, features an imposing 11th-century Romanesque bell tower on its right-hand side, which was already in existence by 1162, when Emperor Frederick Barbarossa granted the territory of Sant’Ambrogio to the abbot of Sacra.

The concert showcases the magnificent historic organ located on the rear façade.
