Seeing is not merely seeing: every gaze requires a concealment, a veil that partially obscures it. Every light, which conveys sight, shares in a dimension of night, of shadow. In this performance, two dancers and a musician present a game in which every audience member is invited to train their gaze through sudden and unusual shifts in perspective. Where does the action take place? How does one watch the dance as it unfolds? How does one perceive the music that inhabits the space?
3 unmissable events:
24 July_Preview: Lo sguardo che conosce;
25 July_Il Forte Borgo: the performance is dedicated to the Borgo. Here, the gaze becomes a wandering, a connection, the minutiae of life. The houses, the passageways, the openings and the everyday distances become vantage points;
26 July_Il Borgo Forte: the performance focuses on the Forte. Monumental architecture, layered memory, a machine of stone and vision.
