An immersive day in Turin, an elegant and scenographic city that for over a century has fascinated directors, actors, and international productions. Among monumental squares, historic arcades, and royal residences, Turin becomes a true open-air film set.
A guided walking itinerary through the historic city centre, including entrance to the famous National Cinema Museum, one of the most important film museums in the world, housed inside the extraordinary Mole Antonelliana, the undisputed symbol of the city.
Accompanied by an expert guide, you will explore the history of the seventh art through sets, historic posters, optical devices, costumes, and curiosities linked to great figures of international cinema. The experience also includes the panoramic lift ride to the top of the Mole Antonelliana, offering spectacular views over Turin’s Baroque squares, the River Po, and the Alps.
The day continues with lunch at a typical Piedmontese restaurant, featuring a traditional menu including an appetizer and a choice of a first or second course, plus water and coffee.
In the afternoon, visit to the RAI Museum of Radio and Television, a landmark in the history of Italian radio and television. Here you will discover the origins of public broadcasting, the historic RAI studios, and the evolution of Italian audiovisual communication, through vintage equipment, set reconstructions, and original materials.
This is followed by a guided cinematic city tour through the heart of Turin, discovering iconic locations used as film and TV sets for national and international productions.
Walking through monumental squares and historic buildings, you will relive scenes from famous productions such as The Italian Job, Profondo Rosso by Dario Argento, Dopo Mezzanotte, Santa Maradona, as well as Italian TV series set in an aristocratic and mysterious Turin, such as La legge di Lidia Poët and Cuore.
From Piazza Castello to Piazza San Carlo, you will admire the magnificent façades of the Royal Palace, Palazzo Madama, and Palazzo Carignano, passing through Via Po and Piazza Vittorio Veneto, discovering how Turin has become one of the most beloved cities of cinema over time thanks to its elegant, cinematic, and timeless atmosphere.
