The Bosco dell’Alevè is the largest forest of Swiss stone-pine trees in the Alps, known from the time of the Romans who called it piniferus Vesulus. In the visitor centre it is possible to discover the wood and its glorious aspects thanks to the open ‘diorama’ images.
