A beautiful, panoramic hike at high altitude on the Piedmont side of the Gran Paradiso National Park. Soon the highlands will be closed for the winter, so we're taking advantage of the nice autumn light and the still mild climate to hike one of the most beautiful Royal mule tracks on this side: the one that leads from the Losere Lakes at 2,462 m in the upper Orco Valley to the picturesque Colle della Terra at 2,911 m. The route is partly on a mule track and partly on a trail, with short, somewhat rocky and steep sections. The view from the hill is amazing. Elevation gain: 750 m, including some ups and downs.
