Munlab Ecomuseo dell'Argilla (Mun from ‘brick’ in Piedmontese) was set up to pass on the knowledge of clay working, to tell the story of the clay soil that man has worked for millennia and to participate in the sustainable development of the territory.
Since 2001 it has been researching, disseminating and enhancing the memory of places and local know-how, environmental issues related to the regeneration of places (in particular linked to the world of kilns and clay quarries), the signs in the landscape made by man, design linked to the material clay, and art linked to the landscape.
It works through the direct involvement of the inhabitants of the area in order to generate and strengthen relationships between people, to encourage new lifestyles and consumption.
Discover the possibilities of participating in guided tours, handicraft workshops and experiences in the programme or by appointment for groups, schools and individuals.
