The heart of the Fair is Piazza Italia, home to the Foro Boario, where the traditional livestock exhibitions of the Piemonte and Italian Friesian cattle breeds will be held. The surrounding streets and squares are transformed into a large exhibition space, hosting the best of agricultural machinery and equipment from all over northern Italia: 180 companies are ready to present the latest innovations for an innovative, sustainable and safe agriculture, as well as solutions for alternative energy and other cutting-edge technologies.
During the two days, the roundabouts in Viale Garibaldi and the outdoor area of the Exhibition Centre will host the Market of agricultural producers and food artisans, with tastings of typical products.
Also during the two days, in the Castle Gardens, you can admire an exhibition market dedicated to ingenuity and artisan tradition:
On Friday 7, a special event entitled The Chierese-Carmagnolese Food District presents the 561st Spring Fair, scheduled to take place at the exhibition centre in Viale Garibaldi 27/29. The meeting, open to all, will see the participation of Simona Riccio, expert digital strategist of the agri-food chain: an opportunity to learn more about the work and traditions of local cheesemakers, farmers and butchers.
Only on Sunday 9, visitors will find the following events: the Farm in the City in the Castle Gardens, a small animal market with rabbits of different breeds, ornamental poultry and small pet animals; a large market with over 200 stalls along the streets and squares of the city centre, and the Mercantico, a market with antiques, gifts and hobby items on display in Piazza IV Martiri and in Corso Matteotti.
