The exhibition recounts, through works of various sizes, the path of a quest, a journey through colour to discover ‘something’.
It starts with the essentiality of black and blue, and then gradually opens up to a broader and broader range of colours and spaces.
Colour thus becomes an instrument of exploration, to the point of verging on the figurative: hinted faces emerge on the canvas, evoking a female gaze that questions the consciousness.
This path finds its culmination in Ernestina, a sort of intimate self-portrait that encapsulates the profound meaning of the research.
