A walk to discover the achievements related to the Adriano Olivetti’s industrial and socio-cultural project, which has become a Unesco World Heritage Site. The industrial areas, the buildings and other elements intended for residence and social services, designed by the most famous architects and urban planners of the 20th century, can be considered among the most significant examples of the innovative policy started by Olivetti.
The tour includes entrance to the Visitor’s Centre in Via Jervis 11, which presents, with installations and photographic material, the history of the buildings of "Ivrea, an industrial city of the 20th century" UNESCO World Heritage Site, entrance to the Social Services Centre with access to the library spaces and terraces, a visit to a flat in the residence known as "Talponia", and entrance to the 4th extension "New ICO" . The rest of the tour takes place outdoors.
