Every first Saturday of the month, a walk to discover the architecture related to Adriano Olivetti's industrial and socio-cultural project, which has become a Unesco World Heritage Site: the buildings for industrial production, areas for housing and social services, designed by the most famous architects and urban planners of the 20th century, are a testimony to Olivetti's innovative policy.
The tour includes entrance to the Visitor Centre at 11 Via Jervis, which presents, with installations and photographic material, the history of the buildings of “Ivrea, industrial city of the 20th century” Unesco World Heritage Site, entrance to the Social Services Center with access to the Library Spaces and terraces, visit to an apartment of the residence known as “Talponia,” entrance to the 4th extension “New ICO” . The rest of the tour takes place outdoors.
