The temporary exhibition Vitæ presents the works of Jessica R. Carroll, an artist who has always viewed nature as a unique lens through which to explore social dynamics and the relationships between individuals of the same species.
A narrative journey that traverses air, earth and water, intertwining nature and craftsmanship in dialogue with the history of the place that hosts it. Vitæ thus becomes an invitation to rediscover nature with a fresh perspective, focusing on the delicate balances that govern collective life, between cooperation and survival.
Bees, anchovies and eels – worlds that seem distant yet are united by complex relational systems – take shape in refined and ethereal works, suspended between irony and poetry.
The exhibition, which forms part of the tour of the Castle and Gardens, is enriched by a programme of accompanying activities designed to deepen and fully immerse visitors in the experience.
