A rustic grape variety with blue-black bunches that imparts a pleasant fruity aroma, which is enhanced in the creation of lively wines. Its grapes, given their colour and tannins, are also suitable for blending with other types and for the production of still wines.
Collina Torinese
The production area is a stretch of union between the Turin and Monferrato areas, in a landscape that is the undisputed reign of Freisa but also enhances other classic vines such as Barbera and Bonarda or the delicate Cari and Malvasia, ideal accompaniments for Turin pastries.
